TWICE LIGHTS in MNL: "KUMAIN NA KAYO?!??!"

It's almost a year; I know. ahhahahah

yall might be thinking this is sooooooo yesterday already. But whatever, I'm just gonna do the post anyway. so please, indulge me. had to really wait for my new blog to be ready for this post. so sorry naman. hahahha

Yall already know what this post is all about most prolly. Yes you're right it's TWICE LIGHTS IN MNL that happened last June 29,2019. (funny how it took me this long to post).

So yeah, that was the day of our lives. The day I was standing aprox 5meters away form Twice. aaaak!!!! aaaaaakkkk!!!! AAAAAAAAAKKKK!!!!!!!

so before I start this, just want you all to know I'm a novice Twice fanny. I started only during What is Love era. [I'm  a baby, I know. but please do welcome me to your fam!!!] ahahhah.

well the thing is I already am following twice, like I always watch all of their comeback MVs just to keep track; the JYP trash in me just wants to. But it was not until a friend(code name: CHOWA) asked me to "cosplay" Mina in one of the events in our hometown that I started checking out perfs of Twice and surprisingly their variety shows as well; and boy they are one crazy gay bishes. And yeah the rest was history and there goes my money. hahahah.

Now why Mina? I have always had an eye on her just because she is the ballerina. One friend once told me to watch SIXTEEN while it was broadcasting before because one member was a ballerina. I didn't back then, only to know she will be one of my loves. But quite honestly. Jeongyeon is my biggest bias, I had an eye on her the first time I saw her during ooh ahh mv. I love the boyish energy.

Anyhow, that was my discography of me being a ONCE and dude have I spent a lot during my 1year in the fandom. not to mention all the costumes I purchased/made to order just for a Mina Cosplay.

yeah I'm a "slightly" Mina Cosplayer. I just love dressing up like her. And ofc it was a MAJOR Twice event, I cannot just not level up my cosplay.

so months before the concert(even before we actually confirmed it was gonna happen), me and Chowa and the rest of the ONCE Negros gang planned it all out. That we will be in a signal costume. hahahahahha.

so there we had costumes made. And concert day was PABIBBO DAY!!!

so ONCE Negros prepared banners for pips that time.we gave them all out while we were lining up before the concert. LEAVE ME A COMMENT IF YOU RECEIVED ONE!

Did you know I was at the Standing section?? I'm not sure if I said this already but I somewhat swore I will never be in the standing section after my experience with 2NE1's AON. But hell did I go through all the pushing again. but this time is better, I'M ON THE BARRICADE BEYBI! hahahahah

though it was faintly at the sides, I was still happy I was barricade. it was a freakin clear view with just minor distractions of that big kuya in front of me (like seriously. imagine a BM sized kuya relatively in front of you who waives his phone back and forth for fancams). I'm so done. I recall tapping his muscular arms with my cbz a lot of times. grrrrr....

So anyway, the concert.

the started with STUCK IN MY HEAD as the opening. and I remember I just loved their costumes. I totally fell in love for it. That was the black Peplum Suit with stones that glitter all around. I just loved it!

And so the went on with performing a number of their songs, made their greetings, then BDZ which was followed by YES OR YES then change of segment. There were total of 5 diff stages: BLACK(which was the opening), WHITE, RED, Unit stages, and the FANCY costume era. and then ofc the encore.

my fave stage was actually Jihyo and Momo's unit performance. I think because of the contemporary take on the song. and honestly, I never imagined Jihyo to be that flowy and good in a contemporary dance. and it was BLUE!!!. AND IT WAS TAEMIN's GOODBYE!!! and IDK everything about it was lovely! I actually have no fancam on that one. I was busy watching them. LOVEIT!

members impression:

NAYEON: She's the Prettiest one. Sorry Mina and Jeong. but seriously, Nayeon was the eye catcher. they were performing Stuck in My Head from a far and got a glimpse of another long haired lady with bangs whom I did not recognize(at first I though it was Mina, but I knew Mina was not curly that time and her bangs are parted sideways), until I had to go through them one by one and realize I haven't seen Nayeon yet. thus I confirmed it was her. Sorry I did not expect her to be that pretty. and I was shocked.

JEONGYEON: Pretty Jeong. my bias. My heart was always full just watching her. she had an eyepatch because she has a eye stye which is sad. Didn't have the opportunity to see her beauty fully. but it's okay I still loved her. She was really tita.

and I loved it.

MOMO: Momo was still Momo that we all know. She's adorbs like how she always. Never really had the opportunity to look at her and observe. Sorry. But one thing is for sure, She was a power dancer *heart heart*

SANA: Sana is all bitchy. bet she didn't really know that. All of her is just to bitchy in a good way. Like the way she talks is all seductive and the way she moves are all with that certain kind of "kembot". We all know that from watching their videos, but seeing that on flesh, really gives a new kind of energy.

JIHYO: think she's just oozing with charisma. She's prettier than expected. and I loved looking at her. she's so toned and she looks really nice. And yeah, Can't powerful moves live. like if she's

"tumatagos sa phone" when you watch her on yt, she's tumatagos sa puso if you see her kill the dance steps live! swear!

MINA: My Princess MINAAA!!! She's really pretty. in the ranks, she goes second to Nayeon. Seeing her that close, I just realized how tall she is. I mean, I'm tall, but bet she's taller than me. She's everything I

did not really expect, but in a good way. For one, again I thought she's not that tall. but she looks like she is really long. Then I thought she's the slim stick lady, but no.... she's full. And I loved watching her dance up close. I always thought her moves are clean, but seeing them live. they are SUPER CLEAN, SUPER ACCURATE. SUPER SHARP. (but then again her energy was down. you can sense that). She was already not feeling well during the concert. I can see through my fancams what I think are cold sweats, but she still delivered.

Like all the members are still fresh and dry and here she is shining with sweat on her forehead. I'm proud of you dear lady, for giving your best. But then again, she was not that "pabibbo" like she was in other stops. she would just waive once and then none. hope she comes back to us soon. [update] SHE"S BACK!!! <3

DAHYUN: Now she was obviously the most pabibbo one. She was like "KUMAIN NA KAYO?!" on her first introduction and the arena went wild. She knows her way to the fans hearts. she was so funny and lovely. I found myself calling onto her at one time hoping would respond. That's how much of a scam she is. ma bobogus ka talaga ni Dahyun. You'll find yourself calling out to her even though she's not your bias. And yes Ladies and Gents, she's SOOOO WHITE.

CHAEYOUNG: OUR BEST GIRL!!!!!  you know how much Chaeng would be the not so popular member among Twice. Surprisingly she looks really lovely in person. I'm not a Chaeng person. though I find her cute if she goes baby to Mina from time to time. and when members really do "baby" her. but that's that. During the concert seeing her live, Her baby aura is just soooo strong that you want to pinch her as well. Surprisingly she was prettier and lovelier in person. Chaeng was the happiest among all the members I can say. Her energy was waaay over the roof that she keeps on running around and she left the extended stage last. PH ONCES really gave love to her. (which I believe she doesn't always receive in Kr.) I'm not

saying she's unloved. but bet and I am confident to say that here in PH EVERYONE like emphasis on EVERYONE LOVED HER. too much love she did not expect. she was bright the whole night.

TZUYU: Tzuyu.... well didn't really had the chance also to look at her for long. She was pretty though really pretty. though I think she was the normal Tzuyu who just spoke when Jihyo call on to her to speak. And she did not so anything at all to really catch all of our attention. normal Tzuyu. So... I end there.

Though it was so fun and magical, there was a part that was so down. I was looking at Mina for the whole of the concert and

she was so down. She was not, again, the Pabibbong Mina that she is on other stops. She was obviously feeling something at the concert already that she barely smiles. And though she pushes through it, you can sense her steps were heavy. there are times she relaxes on choreographies (which she does not do usually). And throughout the show, members would go to her if they had the chance and comfort her. There was one moment when I really caught Jeong holding her hand asking "gwenchana" and she noded back. then one time Dahyun was hugging her as they return from the extended stage to the main stage. everyone was keeping an eye on her.

She was really feeling bad already.

She was not on the mood which made me a little bit not on the mood as well. huhuhuhuhu... but one thing I am thankful for is that she still pushed and she was here with us. Sorry Mina. but Thank you!

did you know, I prepared a ballet skirt for her, we tried to give it to her, threw it on stage, but

she did not take it. she was not on the mood to take any gifts or banners.

And so I just took it back after the show. I'll give this to her next time. I surely will.
