Hello friends.
So just so you know, I was supposed to skip writing about Treasure Pulse on In Manila, but here I am sitting at a supposed to be wi-fi-available cafe where the wi-fi is not working. So might as well write on my notes. and post it later.
[And this is the post]
Anyhow, it has been months since Pulse On in Mnl. April 18th was the appointed date. Lovely, isn’t it? It was days after my birthday.

So let’s just quickly run through this day. As always, the concert has its own magic that stays in your heart for a long time.
This time, we still got our favorite place, the center area fronting the stage. Lowerbox RowA 201. The best place to see the whole show. We loved it there.
It was different this time. No Treasure parents (we kinda expected them to be back. LoL), and no third encore.
But just as expected, Treasure lived the YG legacy. Their shows were FIRE!!!
They started the show with MMM, a song I never expected for an opening. But I must admit it was a good idea. Starting with that blast simply set the mood of the whole show.
My favorite stages were MOVE, and the second set, where they were dressed in sailor outfits and the songs were from their first step era. Pardon me, I might just love Sailor outfits, but to be honest, their schoolboy era was very nostalgic and cute at the same time. So just normally, it hit me like an unexpected curveball. And don’t get me going with HYUNHAYO. This will always be my fave stage. They gave a quick sneak peek of their new song. No one expected that, but still enjoyed it like we had heard it a hundred times already. LOL
And the members? Well, I think I’ve seen them grow, so seeing them in a more mature aura did not faze me anymore.
As usual, my fancams go back and forth between Junkyu and Yoshi. And Jeongwoo at the same time.
But what surprises me still is how clean and impactful Jeongwoo’s vocals are. This boy does not stop improving. And I respect him for continuously honing his craft.
To be honest, he gives off a "kid who wings everything kinda vibe”. But for him to have this surprising improvement, every comeback tells me he works hard. I love him for that.
Funny how I was not used to them changing leaders; I’m still stuck on Hyunsuk making the first move, and hearing Junkyu lead the comments section and greetings seems very new to me.
Hyunsuk, on the sides, though, is still the captain of the ship. You can see him still trying to steer the whole dynamics in a very subtle way. He did what he needed to do as the oldest member, but never overstepped the current leaders. So much respect for him. Always seeing him makes me want to give him a hug.
And Junghwan? he gives off the Jung Chanwoo vibe way back 2018, when you think he was still a baby in videos, but he is a full-grown man in real life. He is still a baby to me, but apparently, he insists on growing up. Grrr so cute.
I did not realize my fave YG dancer, Light.bit was there. Prolly, because I had my eyes on Yoshi, the doppelgänger was not visible anymore. LOL
They finished the whole show in their usual fun energy, no sick members, and definitely no Jaehyuk getting nearly fried.
As usual, we volunteered as staff for this concert. Treasure PH Negros admin duties, I say. Teammates did a great job, me, Llanna, and a girl named April, who was surprisingly from the same hometown as ours. great timing!!
I wore a tweaked version of their hockey uniform. “tweaked version” because we made it short sleeves, and of course I got two: Junkyu and Yoshi versions. Thank you, Tita Cecil!!!

Treasure still proves they are YG’s most energetic group in this era. And watching them every time still makes me happy.
Thank you, y'all for reading this through. Next week I’m going to the ITZY show, and I cannot wait!!! It’s been a loooong wait. And finally, I chose to prioritize them. wohooo!!!
